It is only with your support the Foundation can keep our Health Care Equipment up to date in our Community.
The O’Leary Community Health Foundation’s largest fund-raiser in recent years commenced in the fall of 2013 and it will receive the last major pledge in late 2017. The CARES Campaign lead by David and Carol was very successful in reaching its goal. The province of P.E.I. kicked of the campaign with a major donation of $165,000.00. On hand to present the cheque was Hon. Minister of Health, Doug Currie as well as the Hon. Minister of Tourism, Robert Henderson. On hand to receive the cheque was Foundation Chair Eva Rodgerson and campaign chairs David and Carol Ferguson. This campaign made it possible to purchase a new Diagnostic Imaging X-Ray machine which was installed in the fall of 2015 at Community Hospital.
This past spring the O’Leary Community Health Foundation Inc. worked together with the PEI Women’s Institute and Western Hospital Foundation to raise funds for both West Prince Hospital’s. Thanks to all who supported this great cause-Spring Is In The Air.
The O'Leary Community Health Foundation Inc. Is having their Tree Lighting and Memorials for their Lights for the Future Campaign on Dec 6 th at Community Hospital 7:00pm. The Evangeline Central Credit Union kicked off their campaign with a donation of $1250.00. Money raised this year will go towards the purchase of a new $60,000.00 chemistry analyzer for the Lab at Community Hospital. This is a critical piece of equipment to provide lab services. It is used for blood chemistry(ie) glucose and electrolytes. Members of the foundation will be selling Memorial Tags at Scotiabank on Dec 1st. You can also purchase them at the front desk at Community Hospital. The Youth from the O'Leary Church of the Nazarene will be singing Christmas Carols to the residents of Community Hospital and Margaret Stewart Ellis Home. Come out and join in and enjoy some snacks and Apple Cider. Your support is appreciated!
